Waterer

walk-in-coop-up-to-15-chickens?cm_vc=IOPDP1 is the one i have the one you posted

In one of those pics i see 13 birds? Yea.. that is way too many for that setup. They may have died from overheatin cause birds make a LOT of heat. Even though they may seem ok durin the day at night locked in the coop part it is gonna be way miserable. ;(.

Did you mess with the waterer top and get it to work for you yet? If you really think it defunked take it back to where you got it amd try another.

I use buckets and rubber pans for watering. I put out multiple sources all over the yard, and in their run, and shed.
x2...I have a bunch under the shade trees and check them during the day....I like them to be outside so the hens aren't all in the coop or pen....it's hot over there and I'd rather they stay under the trees.

I haven't used that one. After you fill it I would dump it sideways to remove what's in the drinking part to see if it refills again.
That particular one has something to do with how you screw the lid on whether water comes out or not.....I'm thinkin that was the one that worked that way. I tried like 6 waterers before I went to rubber pans (kind used for horses).

5 gallon bucket with horizontal water nipples(amazon), it works great! I use a gamma lid, screw it down, then back it off a quarter turn. I keep it in my coop, so it's out of the sun. I just refilled it after 2 weeks, with 8 hens. It's easy and works great. I made a small 2 qt one, for my brooder also.

I have gotten the waterer working properly now just a slight adjustment in the lid tightness thank you
