Helping my mom in the garden

And when they aren't working,
I love those pics, isn't it funny how they have to be involved in everything going on outside? my ducks follow us around when we're working especially if they see the shovel, [Oh boy maybe some worms] But Sammy & Missy have to be right there telling us how to do it right. lol I love it when they fold up to take a nap.

It is funny how they have to be involved. Boris and Natasha are always following me around and get into everything. If I get too far they really honk and run flapping their wings. They are funny. Then I get a scolding for getting too far. When I go in they sleep by the back door. Pooping on the little patio of course.

My geese will either sleep by the front door, or the back door (most of the time). We had to put garden fencing around the front patio to keep that area clear of goose poop so that it wouldn't be tracked into the house. The geese sleep by edge of the fencing, closest to our door, I think you can tell from the picture. Now, the patio is much cleaner, AND we get a leg workout stepping over the little fence

Right now all my flock can come into the back yard, as long as I can still use the hose and spray off the poop at the end of the day, and my shoes when i go out to visit. But once the spring freezes and i can't use the hose they will be banned from the patio. till spring thaw. But they do love being close to the door don't they? my gander will come to the back door and knock sounds just like a person is there, gets all the dogs barking too. He wants his afternoon snack.

This is a picture my husband took of me and the infamous Frankie. He went after my pants leg again so I picked him up and gave him a hug. He did not seem to like it. Now if he looks like he is going to attack I ask him if he would like a hug. He just walks off. I don't know why I like that big bad birdie so much.
