waterfowl surprise, need help, please

The way it was explained to me for hand turning is instead of just rolling them from one side to the other, you 'flip' it over, keeping the big end down. So you are still turning it to the other side, it's just get more motion in it I guess. But there are many people that use auto turners with great success, so I don't think either way makes a difference.
 
Thanks... Sometimes there are so many different answers, you just never know. I will make sure I turn them the way you explained. I had a bad experience with an automatic turner (motor stopped) and they go so slow, I never realized it until it was too late

Well, I guess I'm kinda lucky in that respect. If my motor quit, I would surely know. It makes so much darned noise I would notice the peace and quiet!
