Waterfowl & Water Photo Contest
Ends July 13th, 2023
Calling all waterfowl lovers and photography enthusiasts! Do you have amazing shots or portraits of your domestic waterfowl swimming, diving, or just having fun in the water? We'd love to see them! Whether it's ducks, geese, or Muscovy, these feathered friends adore spending time in the water. Showcase your photography skills by capturing them in their natural habitat. Don't miss the chance to flaunt your water-loving fowl and let them shine in all their aquatic glory!
It's easy to enter, just reply to this thread & attach (upload) pictures of your domestic waterfowl in or on water.
Prizes
BYC Store Gift Certificates are available to winners in the United States. If the winners are outside the United States, they will be awarded the PFM instead.
Place Prize 1st $50 BYC Store Gift Certificate, or 1-year PFMs ($60 value) for themselves or a friend. 2nd $30 BYC Store Gift Certificate, or a 6-month PFM ($35 value) for themselves or a friend. 3rd $15 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 3-month PFM ($20 value) for themselves or a friend. 4th 1-month PFM for themselves or a friend.

Photography tips from fellow BYC members:
- An entry is *one* photo of your domestic waterfowl with both feet in the water. One entry per post, please.
- Water can be a puddle, creek, kiddie pool, stock tank, bathtub, sink, bucket, pool, lake, etc.
- All domestic waterfowl allowed.
- Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
- No screenshots, watermarks, date stamps, text, etc., on the photo. No collages.
- The photo needs to have been taken by you.
- You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest.
- High-quality images are recommended. Basic editing, such as cropping and other subtle changes, are allowed.
- ALL photos MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
- Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
- All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
- Entries will be accepted until July 13th, 2023, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Off subject, and I hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm curious. Are you sure it was dumped and what State are you from? It looks a lot like the Swedish Hybrids that I study/watch some here in Maine. They're a wild duck, not domesticated, though they may appear domesticated. If this is one of those Swedish Hybrids and that person catches it, they'll need to be prepared to stop it from migrating (or flying away).View attachment 3555598
