Looking for ideas for a sufficient watering system that is equally accessible for my chickens and ducks. During the summer the ducks have their pond however during the winter it becomes difficult with the ducks hogging the water and making a mess.

I typed "watering system" into the BYC search box and several old threads came up. Maybe in reading through them you can find a serviceable method for watering your mixed flock. Here's the link: https://www.backyardchickens.com/newsearch?search=watering+systems
Also, I see this is your first post. If you'd like, pop on over to the New Members Introduction forum so we can give you a proper BYC welcome! Here's that link: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/44/new-member-introductions
    Best wishes!

Have an additional waterer for your chickens. I suggest a type with automatic dispensers to minimize waste. Here is a pix of one that has a heater inside for cold winters.
