One group of creatures were still working on her hide, trying to heal the scars, they finally noticed they where flying when they where dozens of feet up, they looked at her with giant eyes, screamed, and jumped off, fluttering down like dead leaves.
Golden Sun halted when she heard a scream and saw the creatures slowly drifting down. She looked up and saw a large dark city and realized she went the wrong way. She turned around followed the river the other way. She felt whizz past her head and it was an arrow. She realized she had been spotted and flew higher and higher to be out of range.

Anger bubbled in Golden Sun by these orcs. Like a falcon diving for its prey, she dove down and spat fire upon any unlucky orc that failed to move from her firery breath. She flew forward backtracking to make it back but ahe had a ways to go. The surviving orcs pursued on foot. She knew more may arrive on some dragons and would have to rely on her aerial maneuverability.

The dragon's wing snapped, and he plummeted into the river.

Golden Sun smiled with satisfaction and kept flying. She could see more dragons coming and a very large one caught her eye. "Shadow," she breathed. A few orcs were ableto ride on him as he flew closer and closer to her.

Shadow had a dark grin on his maw, but he failed to do one thing: fly at her level. Golden Sun noticed this instantly and flew upward with a strong force and crashed into his belly. He roared with pain as she snak her sharp fangs and claws into the soft belly. A few orcs from below fired stronger arrows at her that stuck in her hide and made Golden Sun wince. Shadow kicked her off him and then she up to be above him. Three of the orcs on Shadow's back jumped onto her, armed with knives and swords. She didn't care. Her main target was Dark Shadow and she spiraled down on his back. Immediately roars and fire filled the area with arrows flying. After a long battle, an orc shouted out,"Fall back! This battle isn't worth our time!" Shadow growled,"No we must keep fighting!" But everyone started to retreat and Shadow hissed at her,"This isn't over," and flew off. Golden Sun roared a victory and tiredly flew back to her kingdom. She was injured yet again, but joy filled her for causing major damage to Dark Shadow.
