Watermelon :-) What treats do your chickens love?

Mine didn't really go for watermelon at first, either. Maybe the red color turns them away.

Our chicks and chickens love watermelon! I think their favorite treat, however, is bell peppers fruit and seeds. Cantaloupe seeds and bird seed are also favorites.

Mine will eat absolutely anything! I keep a scrap bowl by the sink for scraping plates, fruit and veg scraps, or anything that is a little "off" in the fridge... they are true garbage disposals.

I just gave them cucumber for the first time today and they seemed to like it.

I haven't tried noodles or mac and cheese yet... maybe that will be up next. I do know that they love oatmeal!

There's not much my chickens don't eat, but only a few of them love watermelon. I think their all time favorite right now is grapes.

My chickens love raw eggs yolks mixed with the egg shells and scratch grain. They devour it in seconds.
