Waterproofing OSB Floor

This is my first post. Am building my first coop and was going to use rustoleum after primer on osb floor but the rubberized roof coating is a great idea. Just looked up the price $44. Thanks

I got mine early last year. Cost something like $35 or so, for 5 Gals. I don't know what it costs now, But if it's like EVERYTHING else, It probably costs MORE. But it's good stuff, won't wear or flake away like paint. Moisture won't get under it like linolium or vinyl.

I just bought a 5 gallon pail from Lowe's yesterday. It cost $44.00. That will cover about 250 square feet. They recommend 2 coats.

I ended up using Epoxy-Coat garage floor finish purchased at Lowes:

I called the company and asked about using it on a chicken coop floor they said it would be ideal. it's been a couple of months now and when I push the wood shavings and expose the floor it looks just like this picture. At first I dreaked out because it was so smooth it seemed like it would be slippery, it's not. To be honest I would have used it on the poop boards too had I known it would turn out this good. On the down side It is very expensive ($143) to do my 8' x 12' coop.

I wish this stuff was WHITE but hey, I think I am starting to ask for a bit much! I looked into the other products that were white but they weren't good for wood. I can see me debating that epoxy garage floor stuff but it is a bit expensive and this stuff is much cheaper at $45 for 4- 3/4 Gallons.

It doesn't matter what color it is, once you have your bedding down, you are not going to see it anyway.
