Watery eye

My easter egger chick, hatched August 23 has a watery eye. What is this and should I go pick up some kind of medicine from tractor supply? Her comb looks a little bit rashy as well. Any help is extremely appreciated.

Sorry, no one has responded. How is she doing today? Could post a few more pictures of her comb area?

Bubbles coming from the eye could indicate several things, ranging from a bacterial infection, foreign matter in the eye, injury, or respiratory disease, etc.

Is she exhibiting any other symptoms such as sneezing, nasal or eye discharge, labored breathing, lethargy, etc?

As a basic treatment, you can flush her eye with some saline or eyewash, wipe off any gunk with a damp towel, and apply an ophthalmic ointment like Terramycin, or an antibacterial ointment like Neosporin.

I noticed some new/different symptoms on some of my other chicks today. One has labored breathing and a raw comb, some of the others have red bubbly like blisters on their beaks along with raw combs. I'm starting to think it may be the fowl pox.

Have you checked inside their mouth?

It could be fowl pox, or something like Papilloma, both are viruses. Based on the picture I would *lean* towards the latter. Not much can be done for either condition besides providing supportive care, which would include, applying an antibacterial ointment to the lesions, and ensuring they are eating and drinking well. Keeping their pen area clear, of feces, and dust, would also be recommended
