Hello, I've got at least one hen (maybe two?) with clear watery poops. Laying is good. All are lively and eating and not showing other symptoms. It's March so heat isn't the issue. I've combed through pages and mainly come up with either worms, respiratory issues, or something like cancer. Given the current COVID situation (.CA is headed for a full lock-down) I do not want to disrupt my egg production with a worming. Any ideas to other possible causes? Are there treatments I can try that might help or narrow down the cause?

Are they drinking a lot of water, or do you put water in their food? You can try giving each one a spoonful of cottage cheese to see if it helps. Probiotics would be good if your feed doesn’t contain some.
Thank you Eggcessive. Not sure if I can find cottage cheese at the store right now but I'll give it a try. Stores are pretty spotty on stock. Do you know if probiotic capsules for people have the same benefits for poultry? That might be easier to come by.

Yes, that would work. I dashed out to the store today for supplies, and they had a lot of CC, although little of other things. Small chunks of apple—not applesauce or apple juice—has pectin, and so does banana, if they could eat a few chunks.

I think some hens just have watery poop. I have 2 Delaware sisters. One is fine the other has had watery poop since day one.
They are now 2 years old. Still the same. Aside from making the poop board a mess I don’t see an issue.
