Watery Swollen Eye

...Any ideas or agreement with fowl pox? The eat and drink without any problem.:idunno

Might be. Those birds don't have the watery eye like mine did when it started. The black spot near the eye, is that like a scab? You might want to post those pictures in a new thread to get opinions. This thread is getting old and folks aren't looking at it anymore.
it's been so long I think I forgot how to start a new thread!

I read on here in more than one thread that triple is good for using in the eye and a less expensive option than eye antibiotic creams. That's not the case?

And no, I don't know anyone that has had cataract surgery, at last not in the last two decades.

How do you use the fish amoxicillin? Put drops right in the eye? Full strength or diluted? Is there egg withdrawal with it?

Did you ever find a solution for this eye problem? My chicken is going through what sounds to be the same thing. Like you I have tried many treatments, including antibiotic ointment around his eye. With no luck. He seems fine other than that. What did you do, and did your chicken ever get better?

How did it work out with your chicken? Did you ever figure out what it was or at least how to make it better? Seems like I'm in the exact same spot you we re. Please let me know.

Did you ever figure out what caused this? I have a chicken with the same problem. Its only in one eye.
