We are tubing Polish once a day with 30ml of baby bird food and giving her clavamox. She is about the same but now I see a small tinge of yellow mucus in her poo, any ideas.

30ml once a day is not enough, I would increase that to 120ml per day. Of course 120ml is too much to give at once, so give 30ml 4 times. How big does her crop feel after getting 30ml?

POLISH update. Switched to Flagyl today after seven days on clavamox. No significant change in her. Not sure if the tube feeding is keeping her full but she's virtual not eating on her own. She does drink though. Giving probiotics to help with the gut and loss of good bacteria. I am concerned because I'm going out of town and won't have anyone to do the tube feeding or administering of meds.

I've been giving my hen 50 mg of Tylan twice a day in addition to the Flagyl twice a day. The info I read says to treat Clostridium for 5 days, but cartspony says 2 weeks. My hen is eating a ton of food and her poop looks better (although not good yet). She is still not drinking and is no longer trying to walk on her own. I think the tylan injections are irritating her, so I switched to oral tylan today and will put it in her tube feedings of water and vitamins.

I hope Polish responds well to the Flagyl and starts to eat on her own before you have to leave. It is no fun going out of town just to worry about a sick pet at home. How long will you be gone? Fingers are crossed that she starts eating on her own.
