watery yellowish sticky poop

Eggcessive,
Have you known people who have actually cured EYP?
We lost two wonderful hens last summer to it and I don't think I would want to live through it myself.
They both started out the same way: kind of listless and panting more than usual but it was the hottest weather we had so we just kept an eye on them. The first one went down really suddenly and then it was obvious she was in pain. Rushed her to the vet but by then all I could do was euthanize her.
The second one came a couple of weeks later. When I palpated her abdomen there was a lump so big it felt like a small game hen. When they showed me the x-rays it turned out to be several internal eggs all layered together and a couple more off to the side.
After the euthanasia, which they let me stay with her for, I asked to stay for the necropsy, which she volunteered to do for nothing, I couldn't see where there was any room for organs left. It was mostly just cooked egg and yolk matter.
This is why I ask. I can't imagine a chicken coming back from even the early stages of that. Thanks
