watery yellowish sticky poop

I am having the same problem. It separated about a week ago. Started her on probiotics/oregano and corid. I wish I knew what it was. I’ve been forcing the fluids every few hours until night time. She just had runny poo but with some white and less yellow. Also mine feels like she has stuff in her crop.
what percentage corid did you purchase? amazon has a lot but says it is for calves.

You can go to a local feed store and buy either the 20% powder or the 9.6% liquid of Corid (amprollium.) Dosage is 1 1/2 teaspoonsful of the powder per gallon of water daily for 5-7 days. Use 2 tsp of the liquid Corid per gallon. Mondana, how old are your chickens? Have any hens lost weight when you pick them up or feel of their breast bone (keel?) The blood looks like it could be from coccidiosis or intestinal shedding, but in older birds who may not be laying eggs, the yellow droppings can be a sign of "cooked egg matter" from internal laying or egg yolk peritonitis. Hard to diaagnose without a vet or fecal test, which can cost anywhere fro $10-45 according to some people. Cqll your local vet and ask.

it is her with yellowish poop. her comb is discolored an bent. she is not active. i feel so bad for her. she used to be so active.

Then I am afraid she may be sick with egg yolk peritonitis. I would feed her a good chicken feed, but suppliment her with chopped egg, low salt tuna, or liver treats and plenty of water. You can try antibiotics just in case she has an intestinal infection, but they will not usually cure EYP. You would get those from a vet. You can try treating for coccidiosis with Corid from a feed store, in case of that. Keep her comfortable, and if she starts to suffer, I would think about putting her down.

i am doing your recommendations.
i searched for antibiotics but can not find it online. where do i find it?

Amoxicillin is found online in fish supplies, usually called fish mox. Dosage is 250 mg a day, but divide it into 2 doses 12 hours apart. Mix it into yogurt or another treat, and give 1/2 in morning and 1/2 in evening. I love liverwurst for hiding meds in pets.

Baytril is another that some use to treat EYP, and here is a thread that tells where to get it:

i am getting amaxicillin. What dosage please? they come in 150 mg, 50 mg, 500mg.
also, my corid will arrive today. i saw in one of your replies, that you recommended 2tsp of powder corid in 2 tsp of water. 5 drops twice a day. should i follow the same dosage?
thank you very much.

You can use 150mg twice a day, or the 250mg as I previously posted, and mix the 250 into a small amount of food or yogurt, and divide that into two 125mg doses given every 12 hours. Dosage for a 5 pound chicken is 250-300 mg daily, but it needs to be divided into 2 or 3 doses throughout the day. Example-- 100 mg 3 times a day. 125-150 mg twice a day. Does that make sense?

As for the Corid, I would only use the undiluted Corid 2 drops twice a day if the chicken is not drinking well or seems especially sick.
