i have two month old Muscovys and want to feed them some vegetable treats. How do I give it to them? Can I just split it in half raw, do I have to shred, cook it? I have an abundance of summer squash

Mine wont touch anything besides corn and feed. Nothing

By hand, or even if it’s left out? Mine take a long time to eat halved raw squash, but they do eat it. They eat corn, corn husk, silk, and cob too. They eat watermelon pretty much whole eventually. Love fresh cut grass (especially if it’s gone to seed). I throw them sweet pepper and strawberry tops, and everything that is safe for them that otherwise would have gone into yard waste. I don’t hand feed any of my ducks. I hand feed grass and dandelion leaves to 3 of our 6 geese, but the rest won’t do it. Every few days I throw frozen peas into the yard, and everyone goes nuts hunting all over for it.

So you might try putting out treats and leaving it. They might reject at first, and adore it later.
