We all know how much water ducks use, and how much water gets wasted in the process. If you have a place for them to get wet like a kiddie pool or container you know you have to dump and clean it out everyday or two so why not put the water to good use! Now this method here does take work but if you really want to save water it will help.
- when it's time to take the water out of the swimming pool I use a container with a big open top (I have a plastic watering can that does not have a top.) And I scoop the water out and use it to water my plants around the yard. You could also have the pool close to a garden and just dump it into it easily but the pools can be heavy when full. The duck poop is awesome for your plants!
