I have 5 layers hens, they are 1.5 years old, used to lay 5 eggs daily,

it reduced to 1 or 2 eggs daily and they didn't eat their food very good.

I gave them Wazine-17 and after 3 days they started to eat good and lay 5 eggs daily again.

QUESTION :

how long should I wait to start consuming their eggs for our food ?
at this time I am mixinig their eggs to their food an we are not eating their eggs.

The instructions on the bottle state that there's a 14 day slaughter withdrawal period. If the chicken is good to eat after 14 days, so are the eggs. I dont recommend feeding eggs back to chickens due to wormer residue in the eggs, however slight, the residue can help build worm resistance to the product the next time it's used. It can also extend the withdrawal period. Same is true for antibiotics. It's best to toss eggs in the garbage.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in, but wanted to deworm my two adult birds withe Wizine but they have their six chicks, about a month old, in with them, will it hurt the chicks? Also can I give it to my ducks?

Thanks very much for your answer, still I am not sure about the waiting time because I don't know the life cycle of an egg being created inside the Hen from inception, for example, from the very first second until she lays it. because, I think we should wait long enough until the eggs which created after they took Wizine-17 comes out of their body and being thrown away
any egg created in their body. So, here the question:.

Was any egg started to be created inside the Hens after I gave them the Wizine-17 ?
how long does it take until does eggs come out ( they lay ) ?
