We added a gutter and rain barrel to the coop and it is magic!

Here are a couple pictures of the rain barrel setup. I just open the valve and fill the watering can! Also in the picture you can seen auto feeder and waterer. Blue bucket leads to nipple waterer under coop

That is great! we have one on the porch of the coop and then hubby ran a gutter on the run and fed it into my duck pond inside so that when it rains the futter dumps fresh water in the pound filling it with clean water.
I love the auto water idea I wonder if I can get one of those out of him ?
