I believe they are six weeks old. I can't remember for sure because they were given to me, but that is what I remember.

Ok that's what I thought. I was really hoping to have a splash orp hen to go with my black orp roo, but I plan on ordering more bbs orps later and I can work with what I have. A splash orp roo won't hurt my plans at all and now it looks like I have a black orp pullet to match my black orp roo.

I'd give #2 a couple more weeks...... for 6 weeks thats not a HUGE comb.... I see wattles but they're also small.....

Thanks everyone. I really think it will work out either way, I just haven't ever had to identify chicks before and wanted to get back up for my guesses. If #2 is a cockerel he will sure be a nice looking one.

I have a 5 wk old buff orp roo (he was supposed to be a she LOL) and his comb is so red it's not even funny. Based on that I'd say you have two pullets....give it a little more time.
