That you get some more soon! Some of ours took 20 hours from pip to hatch!

Hopefully yours don't take that long.

Thanks guys. This is our only pip so far..I am hoping this crazy little thing will wake up some of the others. I can sure see why she was first. An hour old and shes up waddling around..moving all the other eggs, pecking at her shells, pecking at the paper towels and even trying to get over a short wall thats in there to cover the light...lol

got another PIP...this time in a green egg. I so wanted the 2 greenies to hatch! I think all the other chicks in eggs are tired of listening to this little girl and tired of her moving them around. lol

Hey does anyone know if chicks stay more towards eggs that still have live chicks in them? Like other animals find a heartbeat and stick near it? Also during incubation its ok to have the still air bator get to 103..is that still ok with the chick in there? She wont cook or anything will she?

I am so excited for you!! I am expecting my first hatch next weekend!! We will see what happens! As of 2 days ago 28/30 of my "mixed breed" eggs were alive and well that I could see. I notice that we have the same digital therm/hygrometer.
