We ARE MOVING.....ALABAMA.. UPDATE pg.14

yes, definitely Steve's fault!

It would not hurt me so bad except I work outside and the wind, cold and snow make it so difficult to do your job. I weighed the winter clothing I wear everyday, and on the the coldest days they weigh over 20lbs,

make it even harder!

I am in my mid 30s, but my tolerance for the cold has decreased substantially from when I was in my 20s. I hate being outside when it is so frigid you can barely breathe

I don't think mine weighs that much... I used to have an outside job when I was a B-52 mechanic in the AF. I still just wear thermals, a field jacket, warm hat, gloves, and boots, facemask if it's windy... About 7 pounds since I ripped my canvas felt packs and have had to wear my insulated steel toe boots instead.

I think I jinxed myself by posting those spring pics, it has been below freezing here the last two nights........ by a few degress anyway.

I'll have to get more pics for you guys to rub it in. Our plum trees are blooming now.

See I'm opposite from you folks, I am extremely warm blooded and I am very uncomfortable if it is much above 70*, I MUCH prefer colder weather to warmer! I HATE San Diego! It's too hot!

A shout out from southeast Texas, where winters are practically non existant and summers are good practice if you've been bad in life and expect to go to hell. There is no way I could live in snow country. To think I would have to dig out my car just to go somewhere, winter that lasts for months and months, short summers, and below zero, is just unfathomable. I dunno how ya'll do it. I'll take hurricanes any ol' day over snow. If we see snow here, it might last 3 days at the very most and that doesn't even happen but every 10 years or so. We had 2 weeks of below freezing weather and I freely admit, we are all a bunch of softies. If there was a cowboy smiley tipping his cowboy hat, I would click on it for you. I tip my hat to those that live in the northern regions of our country. I'll just hang out here, the sun is out and it will be 60-70 F during the day and in the 50's at night for the next week. We might suffer in the summer, but we sure know how to do winter.
