I am from KY and live in AL now and in KY we got snow every year, usually a good bit of snow. In my 18 years in AL, we may have had snow 5 times. BTW, there are bad drivers everywhere, but in AL we are just not prepared for the snow & ice because it is not the norm. Welcome to Alabama.

Well, the house is officially for sale....I sure hope it goes quick, it is definitely a sellers market up here as there is limited housing and acreage!

Now I have to find something in Prattville AL.

Well, we have sold the house! I only listed it in the local paper that comes out twice a week......I had several offers and I took the best one, only took three weeks

So our plan is to close on the 10th of June and be heading to Alabama right after the movers leave! I have found a couple of hopeful houses, but it seems to hard to find anything with acreage (10+) close to Prattville, found a real pretty place near Centreville! Anyone familiar with that area?

at least up here in MI. Major cities are becoming a wasteland and you can count how many houses are occupied rather than empty lol
