That is such a crock! But I want to know, is he keeping the stupid dog out of your yard?? Best of luck that you get all this straightened out or find a new place to live!
oh the best part is that his dog crapping in my yard and trying to bite us is fine since no one saw it happen!
we were going to close on our house next month but we are going to move i think..its not worth it to deal with this man and the absolute crookedness of this whole thing..after all, there are lots of places with land for rent around here i imagine.
a nice byc member is babysitting my goats for the time being so maybe if we move..we will get them back!!!!
Isn't it funny how neighbors can be so mean? And for what? You asked that they keep their dog on their own property? Big deal. You don't want him to get your chickens and such is all. You're right, he should have come to you, and then the two of you could have talked things over. What a shame. How needless. I'm so sorry you have to give up your pets.
i posted a comment in your paper. i am very sorry for your family
what do you think about finding out the laws on his dog not only running around but the fines for the dog biting and also killing livestock?
i would put it all together and give it to him and mention that you have a motion sencered camera set in place to snap pics of his dog on or near your property or a video camera or something.
I left a comment:
"Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The local government officials in this story have acted like bullies. Their specific disregard of the local laws is criminal ! Neither pygmy goats nor chickens are over twenty-five pounds!!!!!!!!!! And the spiteful neighbor that ignores the local leash laws deserves a punishing fine for allowing their dog to step foot on a neighbor's property. The Arnetts should sue the local politicians and the dog-owning neighbor in small claims court, claiming fraud, corruption, and harrassment, violation of public trust, etc,, etc., and request the maximum in punitive damages."
