I went out early to feed and he was still where I left him on straw bed with legs splayed(odd position) and I have BEEN concerned anyhow(he is 10+ yrs old) last couple of days as he has not wanted to get in the inground pool I made for them yrs. ago. Something is prolapsed and he had diarrhea this a.m. so my son will take him out later while I am out. He also had very weak voice. I am venting so no suggestions for "cures" please. I will then have 1 female WH only so my plan to "rescue" some pekins from public pond will have outlet for a drake anyhow. Princess, the WH, will be extremely vocal I predict w/o 4H around. She bosses him terrible.

It's difficult to lose them at any age.

Good you are thinking about rescues. Thanks.

Thanks-I was in process of doing the "rescue" thing wondering how it would go with 4H(drake thats ill) and I knew this might happen. I think something in you knows when they aren't quite right and given his age my heart knew. We were always curious how long he could make it. RAMBLE. TY again.
