That is just freakin awesome! And what makes it so much cooler is the fact that no only do you all accept them, you take care of them too.
What does the mayor and all the other officials think about it? Do yall have rules about getting your own birds?
I can only imagine what those peafowl do to the tops of everyones paintjobs on the cars.

From what I have been told since no one owns them they are allowed to roam the area. One of the nighbors told me they are granfathered in the hood. Everyone here accepts them and for the most part they are not much trouble. I don't think we are allowed to go out and buy more but I don't think anyone would really know. I do know we are not allowed to have a chicken coop or have them in any sort of pen.

I'd build a big dog house, not a pen, not a coop, but they do have a place to go for rain, etc. I mean, they do have laws about dogs having shelter.
