If you are west of the cascades you have plenty of ventilation in your coop. I can tell from the pictures that you are on the west side so you are going to be okay. For everyone else, We just don't get very hot here in the PW. If you had been east of the bumps then you might need more. If you want I would recommend checking with the group of members on the Washington thread. But I will say that your coop looks great. Way to Go!!!!

I am by NO means an expert but your coop is EXACTLY what I want!!!!!

I love it. Did you use plans or just build it yourself? Your whole set up is so pretty, you have some lucky chickens!

Thank you !! I made the coop using the Purina Mills plans ...theres a link abouve....but they werent detailed , so we just winged it where needed !!! A few changes here & there, but we are happy !!

I think the ramp up to the nest box might be too steep.I think your silkies will have a hard time getting up there. plus you might want to add something for them to walk on in front of the nest boxes.

Thanks Pidgey104 ! Hubby thinks they will fly up to them ..... there is a little lip , think it needs a platform tho ??
