Well, I got my 0600 phone call this morning from the parcel distribution building (which is about 2 blocks from the other building) .. that my babies were in .. I drove down there and picked them up .. told the young man how awesome he was and how much I appreciated him.

Just like always .....

I still love my small town ...

I've always stopped in to our PO to give them a heads up that I am expecting a shipment and to give them my cell phone number. The mail truck comes from the distro center around 1030, so I usually get the call right about then. I am always at work so I book it down to pick them up before their cheeping drives them nuts!

LOL .. I think it was a slam on what he assumed to be my attitude with the PO .. Of course, he wasnt' here, so he had no idea what my "tone" was ..

there were several that were pretty stressed .. so I waited until they warmed up a bit in the brooder and all seemed to be moving around ok and trying to eat .. before I left for work .. I'm still concerned about a couple of them ..
