No TV but they do have a radio.

Kodi is pretty good around the chickens. He does however have to be watched especially around the little babies because they are more flighty and that makes him want to chase them.
Thanks for the comments.

Thanks, I don't know for sure what we spent for the remodel. I used old paint that had been in our storage room for years to paint the inside. Bought the vinyl flooring off of craigs list for about 80 dollars. The vinly we used on the droppings board was some we had for years that had never been used. My DH has a lot of lumber here so what he used for the dividing walls was free. I spent about 50 dollars for a 5 gallon pail of paint for the outside and i still have about 2 gallons left. Six cattle panels, $120, 10 treated 2x4x10, $35, 5 OSB boards, $32, about $60 for the poultry fencing, and about $20 for the hardware cloth for the windows, eaves and gate. The windows were free. The labor cost me a few beers and wine coolers. MY DH, FIL, and my middle son did most of the work. I did all the painting and helped where I could elsewhere. So.... you are making me do the math?......

Aprox $397 plus beers and wine coolers.

Well, that's good information, and definitely food for thought, but what I really wanted to know is: How many square feet is the coop itself? And how many square feet are devoted to the covered run? I especially like the size of your covered run, as I'm about to construct something similar for my boys.

Again, y'all did a great job. Your birds are really going to love you come winter and the ground is covered with snow. They'll have all of that marvelous sand to scratch around in!
