We got Grand Champion

I just had to share this. We entered 13 chickens into our county fair this week. My pair of Black Langshans got Grand Champ. We are soooooo excited. Planning on posting pics with ribbons soon.

One of my EE hens Marshmellow got 1st place and Grand Champion out of all the hens in the fair this year too!!!!!

Sounds like this is a good year for BYC at the fair and poultry shows!!!!!

How awesome that must make you feel! I stopped by our county fair this weekend and the grand champions were a pair of the most beautiful turkeys I had ever seen. Not a feather out of place, clean and so very pretty. Would you show us pics of your champs?

I haven't ever entered any chickens in the fair. I think that I will definately do that next year and also I plan to take a 4-H'er under my wing so that we can learn together.
