We got our first egg!!! Now what?

I cant lie ita a challenge and sometimes you have to make the hole bigger with the skill of a surgeon. And your cheeks will be sore for a coupke days. But when finished you have a wall hanger egg. Good luck
Can you use some type of sealant to make the egg stronger after you blow it out and let it dry out?

Dont eat the egg. Shake the egg for a while. Have a kid do it. Take a thumbtack make a small hole on both ends. Then blow into one end and slowly but surely the contents will come out into a sink or cup or wherever you are blowing it. After a long while and sore cheeks air will start coming out. That means you did it.

Now put the egg somewhere special and you will always remember your first egg. It will last forever...

Sounds crazy but try it
I did that with my first blue egg 8 years ago. Still have it.

  1. Ya'll are emptying eggs the hard way lol!
  2. Use a screw to screw a small hole in the bottom of the egg just big enough for a toothpick or broom straw.
  3. Put toothpick in the hole you made.
  4. Hold egg so hole and toothpick are facing downward and push toothpick in and out "like you're churning butter" the egg insides will begin to flow down the toothpick.
  5. Just do it until the egg is empty and save your poor cheeks! Lol! :lau

My mom kept a chicken-shaped basket she kept "blown" eggs in, on the kitchen table. She made a hole in both ends of each egg with the ice pick, as I recall, then inserted a toothpick to "scramble" the contents - break the membrane protecting the yolk, basically. Then she had us kids blow the guts out of the eggs, lol! I remember feeling like I was gonna blow my eyeballs out first and sometimes my ears would pop! I'll try @Chickassan's method!

It works, takes a little time and you get messy fingers but it isn't bad. :)

My 5 yr old will have a blast unless she squeezes the eggs.

That's even better cause you only have one hole in the egg!
