We got our first egg today!

Just got one more! Same color and size as the first, so I'm assuming it is from the same bird.

Me too!!! One of my Ameraucana hens laid their first egg today. It's small but such a nice blue!

SPRING- IT is coming! Now we wait for the others to follow in their actions.

Now our Easter Egger is on the job, and she gave us a pretty blue one!

So we got our first egg one week ago today, and in that week we have had a total of nine eggs. Including two yesterday and two today! All nine seem to have come from 2 birds, so those 2 are out to a really good start!

We got the first egg from one of our Barred Rocks today this is a big deal since three of our five older girls are Barred Rocks. This means we are very close to 5 eggs a day instead of 2 eggs a day!
