We got quails.

So I don’t post on here a whole lot but I have a lot of chickens/ducks, TURKEYS, and over the weekend me and my husband went to the flea market and ended up buying 2 QUAILS.
SO my question, the male quail is LOUD. Louder than the female, at night, during the day. Is that normal for them? I thought it wasn’t but would like to see if anyone else’s does this??

Nothing like a crowing male quail - well, then there's always Guinea fowl.

Some can be pretty loud, but at least it sounds kind pretty

It's possible that getting him a harem will get him to shut up a bit. Just make sure you don't accidentally get another roo.
