Ok! We used the horizontal ones but when winter hit, they always brokeNice! That seems like a good kind of waterer, and much more sanitary than a bowl. I use the horizontal nipple waterers for my chickens, and they work quite well, but these seem like they would dispense water more easily. Let us know how they work for you (well, your chickens)!![]()
It doesn't get too cold around here in the wintertime so I haven't had any problems with the horizontal kind, but I imagine they wouldn't fare well in very cold or snowy weather.
