We got some chicken waters!

This is just something I would like to share since we are now watering them with these. We used to water and have them drink from a bowl, we soon noticed that they were posing in the water so here we are now!

Nice! That seems like a good kind of waterer, and much more sanitary than a bowl. I use the horizontal nipple waterers for my chickens, and they work quite well, but these seem like they would dispense water more easily. Let us know how they work for you (well, your chickens)! :)

Ok! We used the horizontal ones but when winter hit, they always broke 💔

It doesn't get too cold around here in the wintertime so I haven't had any problems with the horizontal kind, but I imagine they wouldn't fare well in very cold or snowy weather. Hopefully your new waterers will hold up better!

HN's are the best for cold winters, but the need to be heated.

Those cups will not work in freezing weather.
