We Hatched A Double Yolker!!!

That is so cool. Great hatch. I wonder if they are both girls or boys or one of each. Maybe you should mark them and track this might be great to know how twins grow

Look call me skeptical, I am ok with that. The ones you have seen here are from the same person. One person hatched a double yolker and had to VERY carefully hatch them - they didn't do it themselves. To my knowledge, no one else has been successful in hatching out both birds and having them stay alive or born without defects.

It's ok. You can be skeptical. I'm not trying to be special or get people to try to start hatching doubles. If I would have known it was a double I wouldn't have put it in the bator. I am just sharing my excitement with my fellow chicken lovers. Believe me or not, I'm very excited that they both made it and are doing great

skeptics anonymous.

IF that big egg was a double-yolker, then it would be obliterated. double yolked chicks are postitioned with one head up, one head down. They have to unzip at different ends.

Im a lifetime member of skeptics anonymous. My friends dont forward me emails anymore that they get, because I always run to snopes, disprove it, and send the snopes link to the hundreds of people they forwarded it to. Spoils all their fun.

Not saying it couldnt happen (anything can happen), but with me its seein is believin.

This one is fuzzy but doesn't it look like they've got they're "arms" around each other?? Too cute!
