Today is day 24, and last night we had our first pip! We woke up this morning to see that the one who pipped yesterday, must have waited a few (like 8) hours and then pipped again to pop off a piece of their shell overnight. (we were worried he was not in the right place for the air cell-- if he pipped and hours later pipped again does that indicate he is receiving the air he needs?)
Also, when we checked on them this morning, we noticed a second egg had also pipped, but this one pipped right inside the line I drew for the air-cell back on day 13.
What is the right humidity for today and on?
What is the right temperature?
We have restricted removing the lid to only a few times so far, during lock down. Should we leave it alone 100% or are there any reasons we should remove it?
