One of our 7 hens had a surprise for us when we got home today from a weekend of camping. We got our first egg!! Such a proud Chicken mom moment! Lol The girls are about 17 weeks old. Since being home we have had 2 more eggs, one that was really soft. I went down to the feed store and bought some oyster shells and a bag of Layena feed. So excited for the next stage of chicken farming.
