We have BEEN looking for a dog.....Pic #139

You did post them on the moving thread too. That's okay, it helped me look for this one! They're cute here too!

One of my dogs as a kid was a collie/shepherd mix. She was awesome! So smart and sweet. My husband had a lab/shepherd mix when I met him. Bear was a character. We've got two shepherds living next door to us. They had three but their old guy had to be euthanized last fall. Their females bark over the fence at our dogs but the chickens and ducks go right up to the fence and they don't bother with them. I'm glad the fence is there though, I wouldn't want to take the chance. These dogs live with two very little girls, but the parents have spent a lot of time with the dogs before and after their girls were born and it shows. They're great neighbors! We're so lucky.
And so are you and your new girl. Enjoy!!

Man! W ehave to get everything settled before we decide that!!! There are 6 and they all look different. We will have to see personalities to decide which to keep and which to find homes for.

Awww, she is such a sweet looking young lady, Debi. Are you feeding her a good quality PUPPY food so she can make lots of milk for those babies without becoming skin and bones?

She was already skin and bones. We are feeding her multiple times a day for now.

No you are not!!!! I love it!!!! They are all so sweet, even the runt is healthy. I was shocked they were healthy, til I saw mam kill a bird yesterday and took it under the house. Good mama!!! She has no interestt in the chicken by the way.

Oh that poor precious little lady.

She has been working so hard to keep her babies healthy. I know she is so happy to have you helping her now. It is so sad when any animal is abandoned but it just breaks my heart even more when they are trying to take care of babies, too.

Mine too!!! We worked so hard to get her to trust us enough to get her away from the babies so we could get them out from under the house. Now at least we can feed them all properly!
