My EE pullet flies up to my window! Thats about 10 feet up. When she started doing it, i had to get her down with a broom. And now all my chickens are copying her!!

We had a flock a few yrs back who decided the top of our 30 ft pine tree was a perfect place to weather a freak MN ice storm!
That was (not) fun!! I'm glad she made it down. The quirky ones are the most fun

you and me both I have three "Tree huggers" ... I have tried to dis-wade them but nope they just figured out to go up where I cant reach and before everyone else goes in for the night so I can catch them first..

theve been lucky in the heat of summer there was an owl hanging around .. havent seen the owl in a long time.. hopefully hes gone..

Oh I bet they will follow! Sorry, Karen - but I can totally see all 15 chickens up there ... cuz you know everyone follows the lead chicken, and everyone wants the highest roost!

I'm thinking a chicken theme for tree decorating at the holidays - you've already got the ornamentation
