Ok been squatting real obviously for a week now, no egg yet. She's loud, talking constantly, scratching nest boxes apart, burying fake eggs. Squats if you even move quick, stands up shaking her tail.

I've heard that it can take up to two weeks. The hen I mentioned in my earlier post laid her first egg today. Yours should come any day now!

Squatting doesn't necessarily mean eggs soon. I have multiple hens who are squatting for my rooster for months, and I haven't gotten eggs from those hens yet.
