It's a live feed to our computer network, meaning just mine and my husbands computers. We haven't put it on the internet yet, but we will. Ours has the ability to have sound, but since we are doing it wirelessly we gave up that option. the camera can be controlled from our computer so we can aim it at the nests during the day and pan up to the roosts in the evening. You should see the stink eye they give the camera when they see it moving.
Oh ya, and I got to watch my bantam cochin lay her first egg! You can take still or moving pictures from your computer and my husband managed to get a movie of Bobby laying the egg! pretty cool.
Awesome, I need to get one of those. We raise Siberian Huskies also so if I don't use it on chickens I could put it on the two expectant mom's. I have one litter due this week and another ten days after her.
Beautiful dogs! Im thinking this chicken cam thing would be good for so many things, I have dairy goats getting ready to kid next month....I could get so much more sleep!
I've had a chicken cam for years and couldn't do without it. The wired ones are better but my wireless works good. It came in handy when my new puppy decided to sneak in the pop door and eat the eggs. Caught her red handed!! I keep mine on all the time.
It's got sound, color, and infrared for night time viewing. You gotta have one!! Amazon and ebay have a large selection.
