PLEASE READ! Thank you
We just got two lavender orpingtons yesterday and we tried are best to choose the ones that looked the most like hens. They are about 11 weeks old and the wonderful lady we brought them from said she has been raising them for a while and has only one she knows is a rooster. The one that was a rooster had obvious a very red crest and the tail feathers were starting to get that sickle shape. We are all sadly very attached to them and we are hoping they are female so we can keep them (roosters are illegal here sadly). We want to know as early as possible so we can notify the seller as soon as possible. I am so nervous about the replies :S thank you! Here are the pictures-
Picture of their wings and tail feathers
This is about how big both their crest are and I can't see their waddles and their crest are a pinkish pale and not reddish (like the one rooster she had)
They are both pretty flighty but will calm down a little after you hold them.
They look the same pretty much except one is a bit fluffier on her wings
The only thing that concerns me is the fluffier one has dark colored feet that are a bit fatter than the other one. Orpingtons mature so slow XD. What do you guys think? Thank you again!
