We lost a cat today

So sorry for you and your sis....I think little kitties are sent here to better our lives. They love you, give you amusement in watching their play, and teach us lessons in life...and death. I'm sure her life was a happy one filled with your families love, chasing grasshoppers and climbing the trees. Try to focus on the happy memories of Oreo...and a big hug to your family.

Sorry about Oreo..

That is my favorite name for a black and white kitty!

Someone hit my cat and killed her last week. It's amazing how fast people drive past our house on the country roads. I'm sorry that your sister lost her cat.

Average life span of an outdoor cat is 9 months. That is a fact. We all know of cats that have been outside for 10 plus years. But we all know of many more that dont make it a year. I am very much an indoor cat advocate. My kitty is there for me every day. It pays in more than just years to have an indoor kitty. You will get more out of your house cat than any yard cat. I live in the country to enjoy nature. I would rather have an owl or a hawk or even snakes eating my mice.

Me too....been there too many times. Now mine stay inside. I can't take the loss of a pet. Sorry about your sweet kitty!

Cats, I'm so sorry about your kitty... and I agree THEY SHOULD HAVE STOPPED!!! What is WRONG with people that they can't have the consideration to at least stop and apologize, because often it IS unavoidable, but still....

I live on a country road and lost a dear kitty last summer.... it's painful. Please accept my sympathies.

So sorry. It is hard to keep a kitty safe outdoors. They love to be outside but unfortunatly there are so many hazards for any outdoor animal.
