A pox on the superbowl AND their closing roads THREE WEEKS in advance of the stupid thing.
I'll be so glad when this is over and we can drive normally again.
I will admit to not being a "ball sports" person.... Yet I can FEEL the excitement everywhere I go.
To bad it has to be in Texas, I suppose in one of those awful stadiums with astro turf and warm weather...
Real foot ball teams like the Bears, the Steelers, and the Packers all play on real turf outside...
I would have liked to see the game played outdoors in a snowstorm.... This game sould be outside in totally miserable weather, wet cold and covered in mud...

I agree with you 100%! Didn't all the parents tell the kids to play with the ball OUTSIDE!? I mean, that's just common sense!!!! Remember the "Snow Bowl"? Now THAT'S football!
No response to my efforts? OK. I want everyone to know I was just messing with you Packer backers. A little friendly goofing around. Tongue in cheek. Meant no harm. Trying to keep a tradition alive.
It's hard to hold up my end when the Vikings suck so bad. But they'll come around. They'll succeed in blackmailing the politicians for a new stadium, and the politicians will succeed in taking more taxes from us to pay for it. Then the new stadium will bring in crowds, the scouts will find some talent to bring in the crowds, the taxpayers who paid for the new stadium will pay again for tickets, the owners will get richer, and we will again beat the tar out of the Packers.
Meanwhile I sincerely hope the Packers win the Super Bowl.
