We made it passed the 2 week mark!

We are new chicken owners. Back in March we ordered 3 chicks and 3 ducklings. We got our order, but all but 1 chick (Henrietta) died. My husband, my son Arie (8) and I were pretty devastated.
Well we ordered again, from a different hatchery and our babies turned 2 weeks old yesterday and are all doing great.

Thank you. I thought siggy might have been a roo, but after noticing Freud's comb, I'm think Frued will be a roo instead.
(I know its too early to tell, but I'm hoping for a roo)

Henrietta is a white leghorn and the rest are exchequer leghorns
I have alot of land and plan to have alot more chickens eventually. So I really want a Roo for a first line of defense and more babies.

Cool! We can only have up to 10 hens unfortunately, but that won’t stop us from having each and every one of that 10!

Haha I get it. I'm out in the middle of nowhere on top of a mountain with 55 acres so I can pretty much get anything. My husband wants goats, but I told him only if we can get the ones that fall over when there scared. Lol.

Yeah... we’re in the rural part of town with half an acre. So we are just barely allowed chickens! I wanted goats, but my parents said no and our lot is too small anyways. So we got chickens!!!
