I took a test two years ago that says physically I am nearly as old as @sourland . I believe that chronologically we are in the same decade.

I feel 90 some days. On those days I rest. When I feel in my 30s again I do my work

I have never put paint on any sort of nails of mine, unless you count the time when I painted the coop a year ago after fastening the walls to each other with a nail gun.

I used to do it because everyone liked them then I realized I hated having nails. They get all dirty and gross. I prefer clean cut no polish. I work with my hands too much

I simply don't use nail polish, or at least not on my toes. After all, who's going to see it? I wear socks every day, and never go to a pool -- only the beach once or twice a year, and then my toes are buried in the sand, in the water, or otherwise out of sight (I sometimes fall asleep sprawled on my stomach under a beach towel).
I might do my fingernails... but even then, it's literally been years since I last did them.
Oh, and good luck to all you quitters! You can do it!

After I'm done doing house chores I might paint my short, kinda ugly toenails with dollar store nail polish. My toes haven't been painted in 2 summers now.... thanks for the inspiration ladies!!! I think there is some polish in storage, so won't cost anything to do.

What’s old to you?

I think old is all in someone’s head. My grandmother is 82 and she ain’t old to me. She can run circles around us and not with a walker.
