If someone was sticking needles in my ear I’d quit too.My mom started acupuncture last Wednesday.
She only smoked one whole pack since then.
Today was another acupuncture treatment.
Last week and this week's acupuncture stuff is some kind of shock, acupuncture, something or other.
She had tried some acupuncture in just the ear a few months back that was supposed to help but it did not.
This new type of weirdness is helping her.
We shall see if it actually works or now soon.
The ear is just to help with cravings. If someone was sticking needles in my ear I’d quit too.
And I say, if you don't like meds that are prescribed to you, talk to your doctor about it! Took me a year and a half and probably about six different meds to find the right ones for me ... but I've been stable on mine now since 2000. And I probably wouldn't be here without them! It takes time for your body to adjust. Be patient! Taking a pill once or twice a day is a whole lot better than feeling suicidal and miserable, or, worse, thinking it's a good idea to go shooting up a school. Hang in there, if one Rx isn't right for you, try another. Lots of options.Personally Id have to say please if you can, do NOT take the mental meds, I did not like the way they made me feel, and stopped taking mine after well.. about a day and a half..
umm... were talking about quitting smoking with a VOLUNTARY medicine. Not shooting up schools. And I say, if you don't like meds that are prescribed to you, talk to your doctor about it!
