We Quit Cigarettes

@KDOGG331 I have a job for you.
tonight go collect all the bottles and powders and stuff that you take and put it in a bag and go stick it in your car....so that way when you call tomorrow morning to make your doctor's appointment you'll have the bag in the car ready to bring with you.
This is what you're meant to do. Bring any and all new medications with you to doctors appointments.
Every new doctor's office I've ever been to has made me list the current medications I'm on.. that INCLUDES vitamins and supplements.

:confused: I never have and I’ve always been fine and I’m sure most people don’t either. But I can next time I go.

I guess so. I can try to tell them next time. As for the car crash thing.... I really don’t think it’s that serious, is it!? I mean... it’s vitamins... Not like hard drugs or alcohol or something. Also if you get in a car crash you would usually go to a hospital/emergency clinic and not your local doctor anyway so they wouldn’t even have that information on hand?

Wait really!? Whoops.... I’ve never told them any of this stuff and always been fine. :lau :confused:

But then again I only recently started taking stuff and also not even consistently. I’m always on and off so many different things. Like I was on some gut supplement thing a while ago and sometimes take collagen powder but not in a while. Do I really have to tell them every single thing!? I have always been perfectly healthy and am not on any medications or anything so there is nothing for it to interact with anyway. If I ever get diagnosed with something, I’ll tell them. They do ask on the physical sheet if you started taking anything new but I always say no. Maybe I will put it on the sheet this time haha don’t want to actually verbally tell them
You "seem" perfectly healthy. If you saw me you'd think I was healthy until I got an ultrasound of my heart or an x-ray... Don't think that way. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there.

Thanks! That’s a good idea haha but kind of embarrassing. Do I really have to do that!? I’m gonna stop most of them actually I think haha

Mine have never asked me this except on the little sheet thingy

So you eat nothing but meat and dairy? To me that sounds very unhealthy to not consume vegetables but if it works for you that great.

I have idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension. A low carb diet high in meat and dairy us not recommended since dairy causes more mucus in the body and makes the mucus thicker. Meat causes inflammation in the body which causes the arteries to close even more than mine already are. I'm a vegan and I'll never change my mind. I have been doing it for 7 years and I was told I'd die 10 1/2 years ago in 6 months. I didn't and I strongly believe it's due to my eating, healthy living, faith, and support.
And eggs. Perhaps it does sound unhealthy, but many people who go strictly plant based, even when eating a whole foods type diet end up depleting their vitamin/mineral stores and doing incredible damage to their bodies. I was shocked to read the ailments they deal with; from osteoporosis to teeth falling out, peripheral neuropathy, damage to their gut health. Plants have antinutrients that can bind the nutrients we eat making them unavailable. I've always been concerned about feeding animals that I never stopped to consider what's happens to our health when we consume plants and grains. It's been an eye opener. Raw egg white does the same thing; avidin in raw egg white binds biotin and prevents absorption. Heat deactivates it.

I think as with any diet, you should eat what works for you. :)

:he

Just because you aren't taking one labeled specifically as one of those does not mean they are not in a multivitamin.
I am sure that list is not 100% of the ones that build up in the body by the way.

I guess that’s true. I read it and it’s on it but not in a huge amount. I’m gonna stop taking those ones anyway though.
