We Quit Cigarettes

In our case it doesn't matter if you or your doctor wants it. You still have to meet the criteria. This will likely vary state to state (unless it's medicare of course). Plus for us, it's a once a year thing.
So I better just call my lab and as them a price myself.
I'll do it tomorrow.

Watch the bastards quote me triple the insurance price.

What the bastards quote me triple the insurance price.
Yup. If you're on your own they charge full price, which is always ridiculous. I got charged $150 for "wound care" at the dermatologist. They put on a dam bandaid. Not going back.

I think I hate medical/insurance prices more than anything else in this world.
The whole thing is a joke.

I am running on no insurance. Between Obama (don't) care and getting so sick I could not work.....

Anyway....
Find a lab that draws your blood and sends you (not the doctor) the results.

My full work up was about $150.

It is how we found hubs diabetes and subsequently mine. He went to the lab because it was less expensive than having the doctors office do the blood draw. No doctors orders needed either.
