I have paid over $600 to be told I probably maybe have an irregular heartbeat that apparently everyone else in the world also has.

I paid $500 for an ultrasound on one finger. I think it took them all of about 36 seconds between wiping the goo on and the machine. Medical prices are asinine

Have you decided if you're going to try the holter monitor? My Pa just did that a few months ago. I can ask him what the bill was. I suppose the prices can change drastically from state to state, however.

Pretty much. They all go together just fine if I take them at different times during the day. I eat pills for breakfast lunch and dinner. I'm also hook to IV medication that runs 24/7. I don't mind it all... It keeps me alive for my kids

Ah okay. Thought so but wasn’t sure. And nah, not necessarily. I’m just a talker.

I just meant it’s hard like as in I have to actively think about it and focus and try really hard not to because it’s just natural/second nature for me. So it will be hard to turn it off. That’s all.

Like see? Even this is a tad long. It’s just second nature by now to me. I’m not used to thinking about it. That’s all I meant.

It’s not just the talking either. I honestly think it’s a little bit of OCD or something too because I also have a very bad habit of going into way too much detail about everything and that transfers to here too. So between all that, I’m basically screwed.

My last treatment experience with a doc was thumb surgery 10 year ago.
Surgery was covered but removing pins came after cobra ran out.
They were going to charge me $800 for each of two pins.
I asked doc to only charge me what they would have been paid,
which from watching the bills roll thru was about half.
He looked at me long and hard, we had a good rapport,
told the admin to just charge me for one pin instead of two.
Went to a doc recently, asked about that, they told me they can't do that anymore.
I won't go back, would rather die.

I totally get that. I'm of the same mind myself.
